ABOUT BEARD'S BIRD FARM
Beard's Bird Farm is a small family run homestead in Springfield Ohio known for our high quality and unique flock. We provide farm fresh chicken, quail and guinea consumable eggs to Springfield Natives. In 2021, we added our first specialty chicken breed - the Ayam Cemani... From there... you know, "Chicken Math"...Things really snowballed and we've since added geese, pigeons and peafowl amongst several other specialty chicken breeds.
In order to share our genetics across the country we became NPIP certified in January of 2022. We started shipping hatching eggs in 2022 and began shipping chicks in 2023.
Our passion for our birds has helped us to take pride in our genetics, continue this legacy and share those lines with like-minded Chicken People...like you!
The Beard's
Jessica and David were married in 2021 after starting their small homestead close to both sides of the family in Springfield Ohio. Jessica is no stranger to the hobby. As a child her and her mother kept many breeds of fancy bantams, pheasants and peafowl - along with more typical farm animals such as goats, horses, and cattle. They enjoyed many weekends at local small animal swap meets and auctions. Both Jessica and David were members of 4-H/FFA and enjoyed showing livestock at the county fair. Their beautiful daughters Kendal and Harper make the BEST egg collectors! When they're old enough we hope to see them follow in our footsteps and be actively raising poultry and or other various livestock to show.

Outside of their bird farm we also raise, train and show Dalmatians in conformation and other fun performance events like rally, obedience and barn hunt! We thank you for your continued support on our journey of raising, breeding, and (eventually) showing our chickens!
